VERNON DALE LIPSEY

Memorial services for Vernon Dale Lipsey, 79, of Gilbert, will be held 10 am 
Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Lone Cedar Baptist Church, Winnsboro, with Rev. 
Johnny Magnuson officiating.

Mr. Lipsey was born January 9, 1936 in Gatesville, TX, to the union of Vernon 
Clyde Lipsey and Irene Estell Russell Lipsey and passed from this life on 
October 16, 2015, at Franklin Medical Center, Winnsboro.

Mr. Lipsey was a graduate of Huntington High School, Huntington Beach, CA; he 
retired from Proctor and Gamble. He was a stationary Maintenance Engineer for 
the United States Air Force serving at Barksdale Air Force Base in Shreveport. 
He enjoyed making all types of woodwork, especially furniture. Mr. Lipsey also 
enjoyed golf, fishing, gardening and going to the river water skiing with his 
family. He felt that his greatest accomplishments in life were his wife 
Loretta Ann Bennett Lipsey, who preceded him in death March 24, 2015, and his 
two daughters: Kathy and Karen.

Mr. Lipsey is preceded in death by his parents; wife: Loretta Lipsey; and 
sister: Joyce Hustler.

Survivors include his daughters: Kathy Jean Lipsey and Karen Klein both of 
Lake Havasu City, AZ; grandchildren: Doug Olson, Kirk Olson, Anthony Dale 
Klein all of Absorkee, MT, and Jenni Ann Klein of Hysham, MT; two great 
grandchildren: Kason and Colton Klein; one sister: Velvie Jean Ladbetter of 
Reno, NV; and a host of other family and friends.
