EDWARD EARL LOCKWOOD

Brown-Holley Funeral Home

Rayville, La.

Funeral services for Edward Earl Lockwood, 79, of Rayville will be at 2:00 
P.M., Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Brown-Holley Funeral Chapel, Rayville 
with Rev. James Kitchens officiating. Burial will follow in Start Cemetery.

Mr. Lockwood was born March 3, 1929 and passed away Sunday, November 9, 2008. 
He was a member of Zebedee Baptist Church and was employed with Coast Butane 
in Rayville for 38 years. He was preceded in death by parents, Leo and Mary 
Lorene Lockwood and a son.

Survivors include wife of 58 years, Dorothy "Dot" Lockwood of Rayville; 
children, Dianne Huff and husband, Perry of Archibald, Steve Lockwood and 
wife, Cheryl of Start; grandchildren, Joshua Huff and wife, Jessica of Ruston, 
Shae Lockwood and wife, Janet of Smackover, AR, Amanda Lockwood, Emily 
Lockwood, and Dylan Lockwood all of Start; great granddaughter, Makayla 
Lockwood of Smackover, AR; brothers, Charles Richard Lockwood and wife, Bettie 
of Monroe, William Hubert Lockwood and wife, Debbie of West Monroe; brother-in-
law and sister-in-law, Tommy and Carol Ann Bartlett of Rayville and host of 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Richard Lockwood, Eddie Lockwood, Danny Lockwood, Ronnie 
Lockwood, Larry Lockwood, and Scott Lockwood.

Honorary pallbearers are James Adcock, James Lyons, Victor Wright, Mose Beach, 
and Don Little.

Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
