HAROLD B. LOFTON

Funeral services for Harold B. Lofton, 81, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 
10:00 AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. Bro. Ed 
Jordan and Bobby Avery will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery 
in West Monroe, LA.

Mr. Lofton was born on October 11, 1934 in Shreveport, LA and passed away on 
June 18, 2016 at his home in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of Landmark 
Missionary Baptist Church and a retired police captain for the West Monroe 
Police Department. He also served his country in the U. S. Navy. He is preceded 
in death by his parents, William and Irma Lofton; son, Lane Lofton; and 
brother, Jimmy Lofton.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lofton; son, Bill Lofton and wife Cindy; 
daughter, Darlyn Taylor and husband Bruce; step-daughter Renee' Coleman and 
husband Shelby; step-sons, Thomas Butler and William Butler; 10 grandchildren; 
8 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Mike Lofton.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Avery, William Guyton, Larry Norris, Bobby Duke, 
Calvin Woodall and Sheriff Jay Russell.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.
