ELIZABETH A. LONG

Beth Long was born on December 22, 1949 and passed away January 29, 2013. She 
was a faithful member of Fair Park Baptist Church in West Monroe where she 
served as Sunday School Secretary. She was a retired administrative assistant 
with the City of Monroe. Beth loved spending time with her mother and her 
church family. She especially enjoyed square dancing, shopping, traveling and 
cheering on the LSU Tigers in Tiger Stadium. 

Beth is survived by her mother, LaVetria Long, brother and sister-in-law, 
Jerry and Dianna Long of Baton Rouge, cousins and a host of friends. She is 
also survived by her special family, Shirley and Sue Cupit and their children, 
Mike, Ashley and Scott.

Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West 
Monroe on Thursday, January 31 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Waymond Warren and Dr. 
Jerry Edmondson officiating. 

Memorials may be made to the Fair Park Baptist Church Building Fund.
