LUPO MULHEARN FUNERAL HOME WINNSBORO, LA Services for Mr. Claude E. Lupo, age 89 of Winnsboro, LA will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 1, 2009 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro with Rev. Troy Long and Rev. Jason Lupo officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery near Winnsboro under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Lupo graduated from Winnsboro High School. He attended University of Norma Oklahoma and L.S.U. Alexandria. He was licensed in real estate appraisal and insurance. He was a member of the V.F.W. and was a Marine in the Air Corp., Co. # 121, a Technical Sargent in World War II having been involved in heavy combat and was a guard for the Enola Gay. He was a farm equipment manager with Scott Truck and Tractor and John Deere Co., a Deacon in the First Baptist Church of Winnsboro and a member of Woodmen of the World. He was also a former member of the Rotary and Lions Club. Mr. Lupo was preceded in death by his Dad; James Monroe Lupo, Mother; Margaret Martin Lupo and sisters and brothers; Hattie Favors, Kate Parker, Henry Lupo, Jack Lupo, Pete Lupo, James Marvin Lupo, and Sanders Lupo. Survivors include: Wife of 66 years; Arthemise Cuave Lupo, Son; Don Lupo, Daughter; Donna Lupo Edge and husband Jack, Grandchildren; Scott Lupo, Renee Jimenez, Jason Lupo and wife Elizabeth, Gary Lupo and Shawn Lupo, Great Grandchildren; Kennedy Jimenez, Mason Jimenez, and Tristen Jimenez, adopted sister; Eva Willard, 7 nephews and 5 nieces. Pallbearers will be; Leo "Bub" Bruce, Bob Brooks, Bill Russell, Owen White, Jack Tucker, and Joey Cordill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Varnado and Elmo Blackmon. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 30th at Mulhearn Funeral Home in Winnsboro. Additional Comments: Claude E.
