GWENDOLYN HUDGINS LYNCH

Memorial services for Gwendolyn "Gwen" Hudgins Lynch, 75, of Bucksport, Maine, 
and former resident of Ouachita Parish are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12th, 
2016, at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with Rev. Andrew Thomas officiating. 
Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery under the 
direction of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.

Gwen was born January 12, 1941 and passed away February 27, 2016 in Maine 
following a lengthy illness. Gwen was a long-time employee of Central Bank and 
had retired from Chase Banking. She attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church for most 
of her adult life and loved to travel. She spent time in Germany, Switzerland, 
France and Austria. Gwen loved her animals, and horseback riding was a great 
passion of hers. She spent lots of time in her yard and greenhouse growing 
beautiful flowers. A loving sister, she found great pleasure being with her 
immediate and extended family. Gwen was a kind and generous person who was more 
than willing to help when asked. She was preceded in death by her parents, John 
C. and Ruby Johnson Hudgins, and her brothers, John C. Hudgins, Jr. and Dickie 
Hudgins.

Survivors include her brother Bill Hudgins and her sister, Machelle Sheri 
Hudgins Gross; several nieces and nephews and a number of great nieces and 
nephews.

There is no doubt God has another angel now and our tears are for our loss and 
not hers.
