SEDGIE JR. MAGEE

A Memorial Funeral Service for Sedgie (Mac) Magee, Jr, age 84, will be held at 
3:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2015, at the chapel of North Monroe Baptist 
Church. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM. Mr. Magee died Saturday, August 15, 
2015, after a long illness.

Mac was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sedgie Magee, Sr. 
Survivors include: His wife, Betty Magee of Monroe; daughter, Giselle Murphy 
and husband Jim of Onalaska, Washington; son, Donnie Magee of Monroe; son, 
Danny Magee of Baton Rouge; daughter, Danielle Magee Lavine and husband, Drew 
of Williamsburg, VA; stepson, Chris Milliman and wife, Karen of Destin, FLA; 
stepson, Rod Milliman and wife, Lynn of Monroe; and stepdaughter, Jenny Heyward 
of Baton Rouge.

For more than 40 years, Mac was a faithful employee for Mansfield Industrial 
Coatings, Inc.

The family requests that any memorial gifts be made to the Tannehill Sunday 
School Class of North Monroe Baptist Church where Mac was an active member.

The family wishes to extend its heartfelt thanks to the staff of StoneyBrook 
Alzheimer's Assisted Living for their quality care.
