Cullen Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery, near Marion, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville. Mrs. Maki, a homemaker, went to her heavenly home November 29, 2015. She was a lifelong resident of Marion, La. and a member of Fairview Church of Christ. Her love and joy were her grandchildren, Mindy Mosley, Brandon Mosley, Alicia Craighead, Crissy Castle & husband Oliver, Kenneth Maki Boling & wife Mandy, Anisa Gilliam & husband Troy, Angel Boling and Ally Chance and her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Craighead, Lincoln Craighead, Haven Castle, Amelia Castle, McKenzie Boling, and soon to be arriving Mattie Lyn Boling. She was preceded in death by her parents: William Ad & Mamie Binford Brashier; and 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 59 years, Kenneth W. Maki; 4 daughters, Kim Mosley & husband Dwayne of Marion, La., Tammy Hayes & husband David of Marion, La., Jill Boling & husband Lance of Huttig, Ar., and Alexa Chance & husband Allen of Monroe, La.; 1 brother, Clyde Brashier & wife Melba of Farmerville, La. Pallbearers will be Kenny Boling, Brandon Mosley, Troy Gilliam, Mike Tynes, Larry Bennett Taylor, Wayne Feazel and Ray Alexander.
