Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Manhart passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Monroe, Truth Seekers Sunday School Department, and was active in Mary Martha Ministry at First Baptist Church of Monroe. She worked for the Woman's Clinic for seventeen years as a Medical Technologist, A.S.C.P. She was a ULM Alumni and a member of Beta Sigma Pi Medical Pathologist Sorority. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Cora Wills; one brother, Dean Wills. Survivors include her husband of forty-four years, Ray Manhart; two sons, Robert Manhart of Monroe, LA and Mark Manhart and wife Kim of West Monroe, LA; two daughters, Christine Robinson of Austin, TX and Catherine Poret and husband Keith of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren, Connor, Caitlin, and Ryan Robinson and Nicholas, Elise, and Mason Poret; sister, Elwyna Smith and husband Everett of Monroe, LA; brothers, Robert John Wills and wife Betty of West Monroe, LA and Don Wills and wife Shirley of West Monroe, LA. Pallbearers will Tony Danna Jr., Don Wills, Jr., Lee Smith, Jeff McNew, Brad Hart, and Chris Blank. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 16, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Special thanks to Dr. Sander Florman and nurse, Claudine Robart, and staff of Tulane Medical Center.
