CHRISTOPHER MARCANTEL

Christopher "Scott" Marcantel, 44, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 
in his residence.

Scott graduated with Honors from both DeQuincy High School and Louisiana 
Tech. He worked at Centurylink as an IT Manager. He was an avid LSU fan and 
NFL Saints and Cowboys fan, enjoyed traveling, adventure and spending time 
with family, especially on special occasions. He was a wonderful and loving 
husband, father, son, brother and uncle.

Scott is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 15 years, Kelli Measel 
Marcantel of West Monroe; parents, Roger and Joyce Riley Marcantel of 
Sulphur; son, Breyden Marcantel of Cabot,AR;daughters,Amber Marcantel, Katie 
Marcantel and Madison Gould all of West Monroe; Paternal grandmother, Annie 
Marcantel of Sulphur; brother, Jon Marcantel of Austin, Tx. and sister, Lori 
Chehotsky of DeQuincy. He was preceded in death by his maternal 
grandparents, Harold and Arleen Riley and paternal grandfather, Marvin 
Marcantel.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in Hixson Snider Funeral 
Home from 5:00pm thru 9:00pm and resume on Wednesday at 11:00am until 
service time at Pine Grove Baptist Church. His funeral service will be at 
2:00pm at the church will Rev. Chris Jeffus, Rev. Glenn George and Rev. 
Jerry Hext officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery. Words of comfort 
may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com. A Memorial 
Service to follow on October 27th at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church at 6:00pm in 
West Monroe, La.
