MARCUM The Memorial services for Jack W Marcum will be held on Saturday, October 12th, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1604 Garrett Road, Monroe, Louisiana. Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on July 29, 1940 to parents John and Evelyn Marcum, Jack died in his home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He will always be remembered for his genuine kindness and love for people, a true gentle soul. Jack had a deep life-long love of Bible truths and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses as a teenager. He served his God, Jehovah, faithfully to the end of his life. Jack was married to Phyllis Baker on September 12,1960 until her death on June 26, 2002. They had 3 children: Derek Marcum (Karen), Michael Marcum, Jessica Croswhite (Kevin); and 4 grandchildren: Zachary, Taylor, Connor and Grace Marcum. He married Georgianne Steinman of Oregon in 2007. He also leaves behind one brother, Patrick Marcum of Tennessee along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff of Elara Hospice for their kindness and assistance. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to JW.org. Jack was a good father.
