Graveside services for Vera Laverne Martin, 72, of West Monroe will be held 
2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 18, 2009 at Harris Chapel Cemetery in Olla, LA with 
Rev. Glenn Gore officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, 
West Monroe.

Mrs. Martin was born October 9, 1936 in Kelly, LA and passed away August 14, 
2009 following a lengthy illness.

She is preceded in death by husband, Jimmy Martin and oldest son, Ramond 
Martin.

Survivors include her son, Richard Martin and wife Cheryl; 2 sisters; 1 
brother; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Noon Tuesday August 
18, 2009 at Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.
