BERT A. MASSEY

Funeral services will be held for Bert A. Massey at 2:00 PM, Sunday, December 
13, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Elder Rick 
Rieger will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunflower Cemetery Baskin, LA 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Massey was born November 10, 1925 in Webber Falls, OK and passed away 
December 9, 2015 in West Monroe, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, 
William and Normal Massey; wife, Lula Fay Massey; daughter, Barbara Ann 
Massey; great-grandson, Ethan Gage Massey-Rydl; sister, Ruby Swanson; 
brothers, John , W. A. "Dub" and Joe Massey.

Bert co-owned and operated Massey's Meat Market, established in 1977 along 
with his wife, Fay. He was a member of the Monroe Congregation of Jehovah's 
Witness.

Mr. Massey is survived by his son, Bert Massey and wife Mary Anne of Columbia 
City, OR; daughter, Brenda Whitlock and husband Allen Whitlock of West Monroe, 
LA; son, Bruce Massey and wife Gina of San Antonio, TX; son, David Massey and 
wife Donna of West Monroe, LA; twelve grandchildren; John, Cheryl and Chris 
Massey, Allen, Anthony and Brandon Whitlock, Danielle Owens, Sean and 
Chantelle Massey and Michelle Cascio, Erin Hilburn and Alison Walsh; as well 
as sixteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM 
at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
