MARILYN H. MATHIS

A graveside service will be held for Marilyn H. Mathis at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May
1,
May 1, 2017 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe
Monroe with Jason Bowen officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service starti
starting at 10:30 A.M.

Mrs. Mathis was born November 28, 1943 in Bacolod City, Republic of Philippines and

and died Friday, April 28, 2017 in West Monroe, LA. She spent her years as a home
homemaker, raising her children in Point, LA., in addition to her grandsons in the 
the summer months. She maintained a beautiful garden all the years of her life.
Mrs.
Mrs. Mathis also loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing.

Mrs. Mathis is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Mathis.

Mrs. Mathis is survived by her two daughters; Evelyn Bowen and husband Mike; 
and Maria Brucklacher and husband, David; grandchildren; Jason Bowen and wife 
Melissa, Jeremy Bowen and fiancé Ashley Doster, and Mia Brucklacher; and
great-grandchildren, Ava Bowen, Lila Bowen & David Bowen.
