SUSAN DIANE MAY

Susan Diane May, 59, died July 22, 2013. A memorial service honoring her life 
will be held at a later time.

Sue was born on June 8, 1954. She was an extremely caring and creative person 
and a talented musician. An accomplished pianist, Sue enjoyed playing for 
others, even after it became difficult for her to practice and perform. She 
worked as a bookkeeper for many years before developing health problems.

Susan was preceded in death by her mother and step-father, Jane L. and Jim 
Newberry; by her father and step-mother, Mitchell and Annette May; and by her 
beloved nephew, Benjamin L. Caldwell. Survivors include her sister and brother-
in-law, Emily and Doug Caldwell of West Monroe; a special aunt, Lena May Webb 
of Shreveport; uncle and aunt, B. W. and Carol May of Mobile, Ala.; half-sister 
Pamela P Glisson; and many cousins and friends. The family wishes to convey 
their appreciation to Marigrace Haley for her selfless assistance to Sue over 
these last three years.
