MAY Funeral services for Charles E. May, 80, will be at 10:00 AM Monday, September 15, 2014 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Reverend Byron Boykin officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Cemetery in Calhoun under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. A Masonic graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery. Mr. May was born September 28, 1933 in Winnsboro, LA and peacefully passed away on September 12, 2014 at the age of 80. He retired from Riverwood after 36 years; was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, West Monroe, LA; a member of Urim Lodge 111 in Calhoun, LA; and an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Charles was preceded in death by his son, Chuck May of West Monroe, one sister, and three brothers. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bonnie May; son Wayne May and wife Peggy of Calhoun; daughter, Debbie Clayton and husband Mark of Natchitoches; daughter-in-law Boga May of West Monroe; sister Cecile Barkley and husband Junior of New Waverly, TX; grandchildren Mandy May, Katie May, Robert Adams, Heather Clayton, Michael Clayton, Morgan May, Cordel May, and Samantha May; and great grandchildren, Seth Miller, Shelby Miller, and Brooklyn Hamilton. Pallbearers will be David Jackson, Ralph Costin, Tony Smith, Skeeter Green, Richie May, and Kurt May. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Jones, David Young, and Mark Clayton.
