MILDRED WRIGHT MAYFIELD

Funeral services for Mildred "Mam" Wright Mayfield, 87, of West Monroe, LA will 
be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Lighthouse Assembly of God, 
with Rev. Randy Dowdy officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery 
under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mildred was born May 12, 1928 to Lee and Lillie Wright in Jonesville, LA and 
passed away July 16, 2015 in West Monroe. She was married to her late husband, 
Rev. Sidney Mayfield on August 8, 1944. She spent her time spreading the love 
of Jesus Christ. She will always be remembered as the most caring, loving, and 
selfless person we have ever met. She has now been reunited with her husband 
Sidney Mayfield, as well as other family, Milford Wright, Marshal Wright, 
Richard Wright, Kenny Peritt, and Johnny Moore.

She will be greatly missed by her surviving family; children, Butch Mayfield, 
Debbie Nugent, Becky & (Don) Dumas; grandchildren, Jennifer and (Nakia) 
Jackson; great-grandchildren, Gabe Jackson and Seth Jackson; siblings, Melba 
and (Marvin) Ramsey, Malcolm and (Margaret) Wright , Maxine Johnston and Judy 
and (Melvin) Blakley.

Kevin Moore, Keith Moore, Chuck Blakley, Daniel Moore, Gabe Jackson and Seth 
Jackson will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA.
