Butch McGee and Rev. William Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Twin Cities Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Mayo, a member of Center Point Baptist Church, was born May 8, 1924, in Crowville, LA and died June 3, 2006, in Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Timothy Welch and Annie Pearl Temple Welch and her husband, James Mayo. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Sammie and James Belgard, Lou and Bob Beene, and Gail and Jim Alexander; son and special friend, Mitchell Eubanks and Karen Foster; step-children, Mary Fleming and Cindy Crymes; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, June 5, 2006, at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. Mayo's memory may be honored with donations to Center Point Baptist Church, Calhoun, LA. The family wishes to express special thanks to Mrs. Mayo's caregiver, Barbara Wilson.
