YVONNE F. MCBROOM

Funeral Services for Mrs. Yvonnie F. McBroom, 89, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Trinity Baptist Church in West 
Monroe, LA with Rev. Purvis Rodrigues officiating. Interment will follow in the 
Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. McBroom was born on January 20, 1925 and passed away on September 4, 2014. 
She worked at Graphic Packaging in West Monroe, LA as a Bag Designer. Mrs. 
McBroom is preceded in death by her father, Elzie Fitzgerald; mother, Della Dee 
Minor Fitzgerald; step-mother, Linnie Fitzgerald; sisters, Verna Lea Black and 
Marilyn Ziajor; brothers, Pete Fitzgerald and Sonny Fitzgerald; and her very 
special niece, Barbara Trost.

Survivors include her sons, Jewel McBroom and wife, Judy of Richardson, TX and 
James "Jim" McBroom and wife, Debbie of Columbia, MO; grandchildren, Gina 
Martinez and husband David of Benton, LA, Holley McBroom of Denver, CO, Heather 
Cowan and husband Joey of Columbia, MO, Misty Sechler and husband Trey of West 
Monroe, LA and T.J. McBroom of Columbia, MO; sisters Elsie Terrell and her 
husband Benton, Jean Hendrix; one brother Robert Fitzgerald; and seven great 
grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Craig Beilby, Roy Fair, Shane Fair, Rusty Lavender, Andy 
McBroom and Corey Cowan.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday at Mulhearn 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
