GORDON WAYNE MCCAA


Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Gordon Wayne McCaa, Sr., 68, of 
West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 
the South Central Baptist Church in Wisner, LA with Rev. Gordon "Skip" Dean 
officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the 
direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.

Mr. McCaa was born on July 25, 1948 and passed away at his residence on 
February 6, 2017. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Mr. McCaa 
loved music, his church and fishing. He served in the United States Army 
during Vietnam.

Survivors include his children, Shannon Johnson, Gordon McCaa Jr. and wife, 
Christy and Gregory Young and wife, Chasity; grandchildren, Keith Johnson 
Jr., Kelli Johnson, Jacob Johnson, Kaleb McCaa, Kaitlyn McCaa, and Gabriel 
Young; great grandchildren, Jordan Johnson, Julie Johnson, Jazzlen Carter, 
Cole Johnson, and Brantley Johnson; siblings, Margie Noto, Leon McCaa Jr. 
and wife, Charlene, Peggy Garig and husband, Fletcher, Jim McCaa, Jerry 
Cappo, Gracie Kinchen and husband, Ted, Len McCaa and wife, Marilyn and 
Connie Lopez and husband, Larry; along with numerous nieces, nephews and 
friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mulhearn 
Funeral Home West Monroe, LA and from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday 
at the church.
