SONNY LEE MCCURRY

Sonny Lee McCurry, 41, passed away February 11, in Mansfield, Ohio from a 
sudden illness. Sonny was born June 10, 1972 in Monroe LA.

Sonny is preceded in death by his dad, Claude Dean "Sonny" McCurry. Sonny is 
survived by his mother, Laura Vidrine and her partner, Richard; his sister, 
Jeanette (McCurry) Scarborough and her husband Jason, and his two nieces, 
Jamie and Olivia Scarborough. Sonny also leaves behind his two beloved dogs, 
Chia and Bailey and an ex wife, Erica, and her two children, Zach and 
Christina.

Sonny was a lover of movies and music. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and poker. He 
loved football. His family nicknamed him "Sunshine" because he had the most 
amazing smile. He wasn't always perfect, but he always tried to help others 
out. He had a huge heart for others in need. It wasn't uncommon for him to 
tell stories of his travels from his work with the natural gas pipeline 
industry. He traveled all over the US and met many friends.

Sonny's memorial service in La is still being arranged. Further details are 
pending.
