Brian Thurman, officiating. Interment will follow at Lisbon Methodist Cemetery, Lisbon, LA. The family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. Mrs. McDonald was born December 18, 1931 in Summerfield, LA and she entered into rest Sunday, May 24th at her home surrounded by her loving family following a lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Homer. Mrs. McDonald was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Felton O. McDonald; her parents, Frank Tennyson Hightower and Tillie Blanche Dawson Hightower; one daughter, Judy Kaye Brooks and one son-in-law, William A. "Bill" Creed. She is survived by one son, John O. McDonald and wife Sandra Smith McDonald of Monroe; two daughters, Sue McDonald Garriga of Colorado Springs, CO and Bettye Gay McDonald Creed of Haughton; one brother, Clyde C.
