George Wortham officiating. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday at Lake Village Cemetery in Lake Village, Arkansas. Mrs. McDuffie died May 2, 2009 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Highland Presbyterian Church in West Monroe. Born and raised in Jennie, AR, Mrs. McDuffie earned a degree in elementary education from Arkansas A&M in Monticello (currently UAM). She later earned a Masters Degree in Education from Louisiana Tech University. Mrs. McDuffie retired from the Ouachita School System where she taught at Drew School. Mrs. McDuffie was married to the late J. Bryan McDuffie who preceded her in death on March 5, 2009. A loving wife, devoted mother, and entertaining grandmother, she will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her son, J.B. McDuffie, Jr. and wife Suzanne; daughter, Jean McDuffie; grandchildren, J. Bryan McDuffie, III, and Jennifer Barrett McDuffie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Blythe McDuffie, Jack Dement, Richard Poole, Trevor Melnor, Dennis Rogers, and Barnett McDuffie. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Joan, Renee, Lisa, and Mary. Your care and loyalty through this difficult time is valued and cherished. Memorials may be made to the Highland Presbyterian Church in West Monroe.
