West Monroe, LA.

Funeral services for J. Bryan McDuffie, 81, of West Monroe will be held at 
1:00 P.M. Sunday March 8, 2009 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West 
Monroe with Rev. George Wortham officiating. Graveside services will be held 
at 4:00 P.M. Sunday at Lake Village Cemetery in Lake Village, Arkansas.

Mr. McDuffie died March 5, 2009 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He was a 
member of the Highland Presbyterian Church in West Monroe. Mr. McDuffie 
retired from Graphic Packaging, and after retirement he opened McDuffie 
Enterprises Consulting and he was a farmer. He was a veteran of the United 
States Navy serving in WWII. Mr. McDuffie was very active in Boy Scouts Troop 
11 sponsored by the Memorial Presbyterian Church. He received the Order of 
Arrow and the Silver Beaver through scouting.

Survivors include his wife Billie Jean Spurlock McDuffie; children, J.B. 
McDuffie, Jr. and wife Suzanne, Jean McDuffie; grandchildren, J. Bryan 
McDuffie, III, Jennifer Barrett McDuffie; brothers, Dean McDuffie and wife 
Rosie, George McDuffie and wife Carol; sister, Connie Zintgraff; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Blythe McDuffie, Jack Dement, Richard Poole, Trevor 
Melnor, Dennis Rogers, and Barnett McDuffie.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Saturday March 7, 2009 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.

Memorials may be made to the Highland Presbyterian Church in West Monroe.
