PAUL MURRY MCELROY

Memorial services for Paul Murry McElroy will be held at St. Paul's United 
Methodist Church, Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Tim Neustifter and 
Rev. JoAnne Pounds officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until the time 
of service.

Mr. McElroy passed away June 11, 2015 following a lengthy illness. He was 
preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. McElroy, SR, Mr. and 
Mrs. H. M. James and his father W. M. (Bucky) McElroy, JR.

Paul was born June 22, 1955 in Monroe, LA. He attended Monroe Public Schools, 
graduating from Neville High School in 1974. He attended N.L.U. on a football 
scholarship, graduating in 1979. He worked at James Machine Works, L.L.C., 
serving as President until his death. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul's 
United Methodist Church.

Paul is survived by his two daughters, Samantha Ann McElroy and Ellen Amanda 
McElroy; his mother, Joy J. McElroy; his sister, Susan M. Weaver; his niece, 
Robin W. Reynolds; his nephew Jeff Weaver and wife, Erin, and their children, 
Jake and Hudson.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Sharon Thompson for her 
devoted care of Paul during his illness.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church 
or Neville Alumni and Friends Association, 600 Forsythe Avenue, Monroe, LA 
71201.
