WILLIE EUGENE MCFARLAND

Graveside services for Willie Eugene "Mac" McFarland, 91, of West Monroe, LA 
will be held at 4:00 P.M. August 3, 2014 at Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens West 
Monroe, LA with Mr. Larry Hogue officiating. 

Mr. McFarland was born on December 12, 1922 in Orange, TX and passed away at 
his home in West Monroe, LA on August 1, 2014. "Mac" as he was known to all of 
his friends and co-workers retired from Louisiana Power and Light Company, as 
a Communications Technician, with 37 years of service. He also was a WWII 
Veteran of the United States Navy. Mr. McFarland is preceded in death by his 
parents, Jahue Davis and Mae Rye McFarland; sisters, Dr. Louise McFarland, 
Dorothy McConnell, Aline M. Cunningham and his brothers, Edward Allen and J.D. 
McFarland.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lena McFarland; daughter, Leigh 
McFarland; along with numerous nieces and nephews. 

Pallbearers will be James Vickery, Marlon Mitchell, Butch Hattaway, Allen 
Beebe, L.M. Welch and Gary Davis.

Visitation will be held from 2:30P.M. until 3:30P.M. Sunday August 3, 2014 at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
