Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Garden Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. Patti was preceded in death by her father Doc F. Brown, infant sister Terri Lynn Brown, grandparents Daniel and Minnie Bareswill and, most recently, her dear aunt Bessie B. Brister. Patti's immediate family includes her mother Norma Brown Moses, husband Joseph R. McGahan, and daughter Erin Leigh McGahan. Throughout her life, Patti was an amazingly caring person whose love was so intense that her family and friends felt truly blessed that she was part of their respective lives. Indeed, Patti was a true beacon for love. As a worker, whether it was working as part of the legal system in Monroe, the Hilti Corporation in Tulsa, or The Louisiana Center for the Blind, it would be hard to imagine she could offer any more than she did on a day-to-day basis. And, though she died at a relatively young age, all who knew her felt very deeply about how fortunate we were to have for as long as we did, whether that be as daughter, mother, wife, friend, or co-worker. There is a clear consensus among those of us who were blessed by Patti that she might just well be a butterfly flying from flower to flower in the gardens of heaven. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 11:00AM until 2:00PM, at McGuire Methodist Church in West Monroe.
