Ricky Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA. David was born on January 20, 1961, in West Monroe, LA. He went to school at Kiroli Elementary before graduating from West Monroe High School. David retired from Brookshire Grocery Company after 20+ years of service. He was devoted to his church, Grace Baptist, where he served as Minister of Music for 17 years. David never met a stranger; he loved his family, people he met through the years, his church, and most importantly, his God. Mr. McGaugh was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Edward McGaugh, Sr. and stepfather, Dr. James Henderson, Sr.; parents-in-law, Lavelle and June Ivy; and sister, Rebecca Diane Snell. Survivors: his wife of 35 years, Kathi Ivy McGaugh; sons, David M. McGaugh, Jr. (Amanda), Jesse L. McGaugh (Hannah), and Samuel Tyler McGaugh; Mother, Mrs. Rebecca (Peggy) McGaugh Henderson; Brother, Sam McGaugh, Jr (Kim); Sister, Linda Hendricks (Wayne); step brothers, Dr. James Henderson, Jr. (Sandy) and Dr. Al Henderson; step sister, Corrine Pace (Johnny); grandchildren, Cameron Joseph McGaugh, Samuel Tucker McGaugh, Campbell Allen McGaugh, and Lillian Skye McGaugh; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Joe Cantu, J. R. Robinson, Ronnie Garvin, Mack McGaugh, Wesley McGaugh, and Donnie Glen Snell, Sr. Visitation will be 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.
