Grant Bamburg, Rev. Everett Geis, and Rev. Charles Dupree officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe. Mrs. McGough was born on August 18, 1933 in Haynesville, LA, then moved to Bastrop, LA where she met and married her husband of 63 years, Charles McGough. She passed away on June 2, 2017. Mrs. McGough was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church, where she attended for over 60 years. She was an immaculate homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Charles McGough of Monroe; daughters, Rhonda Mann and husband James of Monroe and Lori Tindall and husband Richie of Monroe: four grandchildren, Justin Mann and wife Amanda, Tara Stutts and husband Jason, Taylor Tindall and Cody Tindall. She had four great- grandchildren, Ryan, James Peyton, Landry and Presley; two brothers, James Adkins and wife Donna of Sibley and Larry Adkins of Haynesville; three sisters, Vernetta Harrison and husband Gary of Haynesville, Janice Pate and husband James of Waldo, AR and Kathy Goode and husband Rickey of Eldorado, AR; caregiver and special friend, Susan Reynolds of Monroe. Mrs. McGough is preceded in death by her parents, Katie Miller Adkins Childs and step-dad C.G. Childs; two brothers, Curtis Adkins and Gary Adkins; three sisters, Patsy Emenhiser, Renee Gathright, and Betty Jean Tharpe Lee. Serving as pallbearers are: Gary Armstrong, Mark Armstrong, Jerry Barnes, Ken Barnes, Greg McGough and Keith McGough. Serving as honorary pallbearers are the deacons of Victory Baptist Church. Visitation will be Monday, June 5, 2017, at Victory Baptist Church from 5:00 until 8:00 pm. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Alzheimer's Association.
