LOETTE MALONE MCINTOSH

Kilpatrick Funeral Home

Ruston, LA.

Funeral services for Loette Malone McIntosh, age 88, of Bernice will be held at
3:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the First Baptist Church in Bernice. Officiating
the service will be Rev. Donald Lemmons assisted by Rev. M.F. Copeland.
Interment will follow at Bernice City cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick
Funeral Home of Ruston.

Mrs. McIntosh was born August 6, 1921 and passed away May 14, 2010. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Clifton McIntosh.

She is survived by her daughters: Ruthie McIntosh (Norman) Powell of Lexington,
KY, and Caroline McIntosh of Houston, TX; grand-children: Clifton Jay Gillum,
Randal Scott (Mindy) Gillum, and Juliana Caroline (Bruce) Noe; great
grandchildren: Emily Gillum, Miette Gillum, and Fiona Noe.

Mrs. McIntosh was a retired school teacher and a member of the First Baptist
Church in Bernice. She was a graduate of Louisiana. Tech, and taught school for
35 years, beginning her career in a one room school at Union Gin, before
becoming the science and biology teacher at Bernice High School. She was among
the first recipients of a Masters Degree in science and biology at Louisiana
Tech. She and her husband were avid supporters of the Louisiana Tech. Athletic
Program.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the caregivers and staff
who cared for her at Bernice Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Professional
Hospice of Ruston.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Saturday, May 15, 2010 at
Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston and from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Sunday, May 16,
2010 at First Baptist Church in Bernice.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bernice, or Louisiana Tech
Athletic Association.
