BUDDY M. MCINTYRE

Funeral services for Buddy M. McIntyre, Sr., 79, of Bastrop, Louisiana will 
be held at 10 AM on Friday, September 23, 2016 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in 
Oak Grove, Louisiana. Reverends Jonathan Williams and Paul Ninemire will 
officiate. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Oak Grove, 
Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak 
Grove.

Mr. McIntyre passed away at his residence in Bastrop on Wednesday, September 
21, 2016 after a long illness.

Mr. Buddy was a long time farmer in Little Missouri near Mer Rouge, 
Louisiana. He loved spending time with his grand kids. He attended First 
Church of God in Oak Grove. The family would like to thank long time care 
givers Essie Young, Elizabeth White and Lisa Hughes for their excellent 
care.

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, Monroe McIntyre and Mary Smith 
McIntyre; and 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Gaye McIntyre of 
Oak Grove, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Buddy and Debbie McIntyre of 
Bastrop, Louisiana; grandson, Brad McIntyre of Bastrop; grandson, Logan 
McIntyre of Bastrop; granddaughter, Rachel Austin of Bastrop; granddaughter, 
Brigitte McIntyre of Bastrop; granddaughter, Tonia Defee of Bastrop; 3 great 
grandchildren; his former wife, Barbara McIntyre of Oak Grove; brother, 
Arles McIntyre of Sikeston, Missouri; sister, Virgie Mae Wilson of Sikeston; 
sister, Dottie Sinyard of Sikeston; and sister, Lulla Bell Harris of 
Evansville, Indiana.

Pallbearers are: Brad McIntyre, Logan McIntyre, Michael Austin, Jeremy 
Defee, Keith Parker, and Robin Wilson.

Honorary Pallbearers are: Jimmy Hankins, Tommy Hankins and Donald Scott 
Phillips.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2016 between the 
hours of 6 to 9 PM at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
