MAXINE JONES MCKAY

Maxine Jones McKay passed away peacefully on April 9, 2016 surrounded by her 
family. She was born on November 23, 1928, in Mangham, Louisiana to Richard and 
Lillian Haire Jones.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda McKay Wilson and husband Jimmy, one 
granddaughter Ann McKay Wilson Ferguson and husband Robby, and four great 
grandchildren: Mack, Riley, Adin and Eliza Ferguson. She is also survived by 
two sisters, Jeanette Aycock and Wilhelmina Rembert of Monroe, LA, and brother-
in-law Ken McKay and wife Elaine of Archibald, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Randle McKay, sister Claudine 
and husband Billy McGlathlin, brothers Otis Jones and wife Allene, and Winifred 
Jones and wife Dina, brothers-in-Iaws Doug McKay and wife Margie, and Harry 
McKay and wife Bennie, and brothers-in-law James Aycock and Gene Rembert.

A memorial service will be held at Lone Cherry Baptist Church in Mangham, 
Louisiana on Saturday, April 23 at 11:00am, with a visitation prior at 10:30am.
