ALTON MCKEITHEN

89, of Winnsboro, LA will be 10:00 A.M. June 10, 2014, at Baskin Baptist Church 
in Baskin, LA. Visitation will be from 5:00 am until 8:00 pm June 9, 2014, at 
Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will be in Coax Cemetery, 
services under the direction of Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home-
Winnsboro, LA. With Rev. Marion Spence and Rev. Buford Brady officiating. Alton 
McKeithen was a retired Game Warden passed away, June 8, 2014 in Winnsboro, LA.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Bernice Rushing McKeithen, and his parents 
Levi and Melvina McKeithen

He is survived by; his son Landel McKeithen and wife Robbie, daughters Donnis 
Banksand husband Larry, and Kathleen Abercrombie, sisters Lula Mae Brinson and 
Geneva Byrd, brother R.L. Garner and wife Betty, grandsons Bryan Banks, Michael 
Banks, Jon Paul Elrod, and Timothy Elrod, granddaughters Michaela Banks and 
Harley Banks, great grandchildren Aria Grace Elrod, Dustin Ray Elrod, Katlyn 
Powell Kirstin Elrod, Sarah Kathryn Banks, Chelsea Banks, Joshua Banks, and 
Jeremiah Banks Great Great Grandson Maddox Quint Powell, and a host of family, 
friends, nieces and nephews.
