WILMA MCKINNIE

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma McKinnie, 84, of Marion will be held at 2:00pm 
Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Smith 
officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, Linville. Arrangements are 
under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Mrs. McKinnie passed away August 8, 2013. She was a member of Marion Assembly 
of God and was a very generous and charitable person. She was a dedicated 
beautician for 57 years. She thoroughly enjoyed her work and visiting with her 
clients.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Eula Mercer; 2 brothers: 
Floyd and J.C. Mercer; 1 sister: Joan Gavin; husband, Joe Ollie McKinnie; 2 
step-sons: Johnny Davis and Danny McKinnie and 1 son-in-law: Ralph Darden.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Michael Hodge & wife, Wendy; 2 
daughters: Phyllis Darden and Denise Hodge; 1 step-son: Marvin McKinnie & 
wife, Connie; 2 step-daughters-in-law: Sue Davis & Janet McKinnie; 10 
grandchildren: Matthew Brown & wife, Jessica, Jules Darden & wife, Erica, 
Justin Hodge, Jonah Hodge, Toby Darden, Naomi Darden, Heath Davis & wife, 
Michelle, Peyton McKinnie & wife, Charissa, Lance Davis and Mandy Black & 
husband, David; numerous great grandchildren and many friends.

Pallbearers are grandsons: Matthew Brown, Jules Darden, Justin Hodge, Jonah 
Hodge, Peyton McKinnie, Heath Davis, Lance Davis, and Toby Darden.

Honorary pallbearers are Brennan Brown, Walter Medlin, David Huckabay, Jeff 
Kelly, Rogan Bird, and Michael Smicker.
