RUBY MCMAHAN


A memorial service for Ruby McMahan, 67, of Wisner, LA, will take place on 
Friday, February 3, 2017, at 7:00 PM, with Rev. Phillip Smith and Rev. Keith 
Dowden officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning 
at 5:00, at Young's Community Memorial Funeral Home-Winnsboro, LA.

Mrs. McMahan, a bookkeeper, homemaker and the most wonderful mother and 
wife, was born on February 10, 1949, in Winnsboro, LA to the union of 
Russell Edward Henry and Joy Eloise Beard Henry and passed away on February 
1, 2017, in Monroe, LA. Her grandchildren were her greatest pleasure, the 
lights of her life. Fishing with her husband, Charlie Mac, was one of her 
favorite hobbies. She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Joy 
Henry; and brothers, James Russell Henry and Joe Byron Henry.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles McMahan, Sr.; 
daughter, Meredith Lee McMahan and fiancé Michael Ferrington; son, Charles 
Morgan McMahan, Jr. and fiancé Brooke Stephens; grandchildren, Caden Lane 
Gallagher, Addison Marie McMahan, and Caiden Dale Ward; god-daughter, Amy 
Carpenter; special nephew, Jim Bond; special niece, Wendy Crump; brother, 
David Michael Henry and wife Ann Roberts Henry; sisters, Joe Ann Bond and 
husband Johnny, and Susie Carpenter and husband Johnny. She will also be 
deeply missed by a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family request donation may be made to MD Anderson 
Cancer Center.
