MCMILLAN Funeral Services for Mr. Cecil E. McMillan, 73, of West Monroe, LA, will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Jason Miza officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Calhoun, LA. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, September 15, 2014, at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe. Mr. McMillan was born December 14, 1940 to the union of Dalton Cecil and Maggie Willowdene Reed McMillan in Epps, LA. He passed from this life on September 13, 2014. Mr. McMillan retired from the construction industry and then from Coldwell Banker Group One Realty. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Erma Lee Smith McMillan; four brothers, Eugene McMillan, Gerald McMillan, Kenneth McMillan, and John Hugh McMillan. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 10 years, Carolyn McMillan; two sons, Kevin McMillan of Kalispell, MT, and Mike McMillan and his wife Karen of West Monroe, LA; two grandsons, Chris McMillan and his wife Vanna, and Chase McMillan and his fiancée Katelyn Griffith all of West Monroe; one great-granddaughter, Anna-Gail McMillan; one great-grandson, Ryan Lee McMillan; special granddaughter, Cricket Culpepper; step children, Katherine Stutts and her husband Donnie of Oak Grove, LA, Clarence Cook and his wife Carly of West Monroe, LA, Krystal Beall and her husband Edward of Winnsboro, LA, Kenneth Stanford and his wife Tonya of ID; step-grandchildren, Kaden Cook and Kaydence Cook (his little buddies); Patience Collum, Jillian Collum, Gabe Stutts, Chamberlyn Stutts, Kayleigh Stanford; three sisters, Elsie Honeycutt, Sherry Foster, Ann Foster, and Nita Brown; two brothers, Harold McMillan and John Charles McMillan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Debbi and Phillip Culpepper. Pallbearers will be Clarence Cook, Durwood Smith, Donnie Stutts, Gabe Stutts, J.C. McMillan and Harold McMillan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris McMillan and Chase McMillan.
