Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA . 

Funeral services for Mr. James Ray McSwain, 78, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA. Bro. Don Delukie will be officiating. Interment to 
follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. McSwain was born August 23, 1931 in Center, Texas 
and passed away March 1, 2010 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of Jackson 
Street Church of Christ where he served as an elder. Mr. McSwain was a board 
member of Ouachita Christian School. He was preceded in death by his wife, 
Bobbie Ruth McSwain. Mr. McSwain is survived by his sons, David McSwain and 
Dale McSwain and wife Sherrie; daughter, Angela Wendt and husband Mark; 
granddaughters; Sarah McSwain and Cassidy McSwain; grandsons, Stephen Wendt, 
Caleb McSwain and Jeramie McSwain; brother, Oren McSwain; sisters; Avis Lee 
and Lois Kaufman. Pallbearers will be Jeff Brown, Rick Hudnall, Terry Ware, 
Phil Riley, Shane Ware and Billy Tomlinson. A special thanks to Sarah Goodman 
for the loving care she showed during our father's illness. Visitation will be 
Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:30 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, 
LA.
