WILLIE MECOM

Graveside services for Mr. Willie Mecom of Calhoun, LA will be 11:00am 
Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, LA with 
Bro. Waylin Piercy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of 
Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. 

Mr. Mecom was born July 3, 1940 in Richland Parish, LA and passed from this 
life on September 12, 2016 in Calhoun, LA at the age of 76. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mona Mecom, two brothers and one 
sister. 

Survivors include one son, Kenneth Mecom; two daughters, Carla Mecom and 
Sheila Mecom; also survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-
grandchildren, four brothers, two sisters and a host of nieces, nephews and 
friends.
