Officiating will be Father Job Scaria with inurnment in Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens. Services are under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil Erickson and Rosanna Robare Erickson, and her husbands, Gary Singler, Robert Miles, and Walter Mede. A loving mother and doting grandmother, Shirley was raised in Wisconsin. She also lived in southern California, Florida, Texas, and Louisiana. She made friends wherever she lived and was known for her sense of humor. A life-long fan of the Green Bay Packers, she loved being known as a "cheesehead". She is survived by her children, Linda Singler Holyfield (Joe) of Monroe, LA, Mark W. Singler of Beijing, China, Mary Singler Browder (Rick) of McKinney, TX, Michel J. Singler (Betsy) of Mandeville, LA and Brian D. Miles (Sandra) of Monroe, LA: and her brother, John "Jack" Erickson of Menasha, WI. Grandchildren include Chris Holyfield (Andi), Lisa Holyfield (Jonathan Joseph), Ryan Singler, Sofia Singler, Samuel Singler, Jennifer Troiani, Laura Browder, Jim Browder, Becca Browder, Ashley McGuire (Scott), Courtney Singler, Laura Lunday, Michel Singler, Laura Miles, Brianna Miles, Matthew Miles, and Crystal Miles. Great grandchildren Savannah Holyfield, Christopher Holyfield, Alissa Holyfield, Madeleine Joseph, Daniel Troiani, Emelyn Troiani, Tobias Browder, Levi Lunday, Liam Lunday, Addison Fugate and great great grandson Sampson Holyfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley's memory to The United Way of Northeast Louisiana or your favorite charity .
