DAVID L. MERCHANT

David L. Merchant, 60, of West Monroe, Louisiana died January 7, 2016. Born in 
Aurora, IL, a resident of West Monroe, and Florida. Retired from the US Navy 
and Louisiana Tech University.

Predeceased by parents, Harold and Janet Merchant, and brother, Charlie. 
Survived by his wife, Susan Merchant; sister Lynn Perez (Jerry); mother-in-law, 
Peggy McKenney; sisters-in-law, Kathy Eichler (Dale), Lore Chapman (Glenn); 
brother-in-law, Steve McKenney; nieces, Erin, Tara (Chris), Millie, Michelle, 
and Katie; and nephews, Ben, Dominic, Tyler, and Drake, and many more family 
and friends.

There will be no local services at this time. In lieu of flowers, please make 
donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Ouachita Parish Animal 
Shelter.
