MRS. IVA MAURINE MEREDITH

Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, La. 

Funeral services for Mrs. Iva Maurine Meredith, 84, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at the Cypress Baptist Church in 
West Monroe, La. with Rev. Larry Eubanks and Rev. George Bonner officiating. 
Interment will be in Cypress Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral 
Home in West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Meredith was born on March 24, 1923 in Minneaah, 
Oklahoma and died December 9, 2007 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center 
after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Meredith was a member of the Cypress Baptist 
Church in West Monroe, La. She was employed at The Palace and Sears Department 
Stores and Metropolitan Life Insurance. She also was an avid deer hunter and 
enjoyed bowling. Mrs. Meredith loved singing gospel music. She was preceded in 
death by her husband, George Meredith, Sr.; Parents, John and Dicy Kelly, and 
her brothers, Irvin, Earl and Floyd Kelley. Survivors: Daughter, Linda 
Cummings and husband, Gary; Sons, George Meredith, Jr. and wife, Simone and 
Garland Meredith and wife, Faye; Grandchildren, George Cummings and wife, 
Sybil, Tashia Hines and husband, Dakin, Stephanie Jackson, Chastity Lanham, 
Byrn Meredith, Tamy Titus and husband, Steve, and Angela Wetzlay and husband, 
John; 12 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Jean Bush Bridge of Port, Tx. and 
Marion Klepzig of Westlake, LA and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers 
will be Byrn Meredith, George Cummings, Dakin Hines, Steve Titus, O.L. Gregory 
and Bobby Murphy Jr. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at 
Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, La. and from 9:00 A.M. until service 
time Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to Cypress Baptist Church 
Building Fund or the Gideons.
