ROBERT S. MEREDITH
Clark-Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe, LA

Our loving Father, Husband and Brother, Robert S. Meredith, Sr. passed away 
Tuesday morning August 18th at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West 
Monroe, LA. He was born April 16, 1936 in Monroe, LA.

He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Stuart Dumas and grandmother 
Enorie McHenry.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years Billie Sue Meridith; his son Stuart 
Meredith, his wife Laurel and their children Seth and Ethan Meredith. His 
daughter Desiree Stapp and son-in-law Donald Stapp. His "boys" Garrett and 
Grant Stapp who were the love of his life. No man ever loved two children 
more. He as so very proud of them and wanted so much to see them grow into the 
men they will be one day. His brother David Dumas and his wife Pam of 
Montgomery, Texas. His sister Carolyn and her husband Ray of Boiling Springs 
Park, North Carolina. His sister Kathy Mazilly of New Orleans, LA.

He was a member of Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe.

Daddy was an avid hunter. He loved to fish and work in his garden.

Most of all he loved the Lord and his family.

Special thanks to Dr. Don Hammett, Terry and the staff of The Wound Care 
Clinic in West Monroe.

Memorial to be held at Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe at 11:00 AM 
on Saturday August 22, 2009 with visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
