MILETELLO Funeral services for Frank S. Miletello, 94, of Monroe, LA, will be held December 19, 2015, at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 3205 Concordia Ave., Monroe, with Rev. Joseph Martina, Jr., officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the church. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Frank S. Miletello was born February 12, 1921 in Maringouin, LA, and departed to be with the Lord on December 16, 2015. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Smith Miletello; and his mother, Josephine Catalina Miletello; and his father, Salvadore Leon Miletello; two sisters, Josephine Scalia, Virginia Fontana Cascio; and two brothers, Leon Miletello and Salvadore Miletello. Frank was a Veteran of World War II, and was an executive administrator for Douglas Air Craft in California before moving back to Monroe where he was a longtime resident, a grocery store owner, and a heavy equipment contractor. Frank was well known and respected in the construction business where he cleared and prepared the grounds for construction of major buildings built in Monroe and West Monroe; such as, St. Francis Hospital, Glenwood Hospital, Pecan Land Mall, multiple buildings at ULM, City of Monroe, and many homeowners. Frank served as president of his square dance organization where in his spare time he loved to square dance and travel with his friends. He loved to garden and had won the "most beautiful yard of the month awards." He was always giving away fruit and vegetables that he grew. Frank was a devoted member of Our Lady of Fatima Church where he also volunteered to feed the hungry and shut-ins. Mr. Miletello is survived by four children; one son, Frankie Miletello and late wife Connie of Monroe, and three daughters, Betty Best and husband Eddie of Farmerville, Donna Andre' and husband Dennis of Oak Hills, CA, and Virginia Miletello of Farmerville; step daughter, Sharron Parsons and husband Rick of Auburndale, FL; sister, Nellie Cicero of Monroe; brother, Mitchell Miletello; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Leon Miletello, Dickie Worthy, Jim Worthy, SJ Cicero, Mike Miletello, and Rick Worthy. The family would like to express special thanks to his care givers and nurses and aids at Arber Lake Skilled Nursing and hospices.
