Jon Tellifero officiating. Graveside Services will be held at 2:30 PM at the Coax Cemetery in Baskin, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mr. Miller was born in Franklin Parish, LA on November 7, 1929 and died in Monroe, LA on February 19, 2013. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Miller worked for Ford, Bacon and Davis for 25 years as a Draftsman in the Engineering Department. He also worked for Simons Eastern Engineering, and RSH Engineers, checking drafts and designs. Mr. Miller was an avid bowler, bowling with a team sponsored by Ford, Bacon and Davis. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Noah A. Miller; mother-in-law, Mrs. James Edward Shipman; brothers, Cecil H. Miller and Billy R. Miller; and by his God child, Ginger Broadway Christy. Survivors include his wife, Nadine Shipman Miller; sons, Mark Wesley Miller and Paul Edward Miller; grandson, Noah Wesley Miller and his mother, Erica Noblit; sister-in-law, Janet Shipman Tims and husband, J.T; nieces, Terri L. Shipman Hill, Laura Lynn Miller, and Teresa Tims Sears; and his nephews, Tommy T. Tims, J. Larry Tims, Mickey Alan Tims, Deryl Shipman and Tommy Miller. Pallbearers will be Jeff Wolf, Wes Hill, James Richardson, Gary Stroud, Ward Miller, and Miller Watson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Jacobs, Richard Soignier, Bob Hinson, and Steve Swander. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church West Monroe, Children and Youth Departments; Methodist Children's Home or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until Service Time on Thursday at First United Methodist Church West Monroe, LA.
