MRS. MELBA LEE MILLER

West Monroe, LA

Graveside services for Mrs. Melba Lee Miller, 95, of West Monroe, LA will be 
held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Alexandria Memorial Gardens. 
Rev. Robert Goth will officiate, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home 
West Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Miller was born April 4, 1913 in Rapides Parish, LA and passed away 
October 9, 2008 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
James Harold Miller; father, Robert Lee Eagles and mother, Fannie Duncan 
Eagles; sister, Ethel Squyres and sister-in-law, Anne Rew.

Mrs. Miller was a long time resident of Alexandria, LA., and a member of 
Trinity Methodist Church. Mrs. Miller retired from England Air Force Base as a 
secretary after 20 years of service.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Roy Pittard of West 
Monroe; her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Paula Miller of Denham Springs, 
LA.; six grandchildren; Leigh Scott of Little Rock, AR., Michael Pittard and 
wife Maggie of Baton Rouge, LA., David Pittard and wife Liliana of Keller, TX., 
Chris Pittard and wife Kristi of West Monroe, LA., Danny Miller of Baton Rouge, 
LA., Troy Dunn and wife Laura of Gulfport, MS., five great-grandchildren, 
Olivia Scott, Kade, Claire, Aidan Pittard and Bobby Dunn and a very special 
nephew and his wife Robert and Ann Squyres and their family.

Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral 
Home West Monroe, LA.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Pallbearers will be Chris Pittard, Michael Pittard, David Pittard, Danny 
Miller, Troy Dunn and Roy Pittard.
