LEE MILLS

Graveside services will be held for Lee Mills, 70, of Monroe, La. at 11:00 AM, 
Wednesday, May 3, 2016, at Mulhearn Memorial Park. Rev. Ray Owens will 
officiate under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe.

Lee was born October 25, 1945, in Lubbock, Texas, and passed away May 1, 2016, 
in Minden. He graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in 1964 and furthered 
his education at Northeast Louisiana University. At an early age, Lee began 
purchasing apartment complexes around the Monroe area. He was a very active 
member of the NRA and became an instructor for the organization. He loved the 
outdoors, whether it was hunting, fishing or shooting. He was preceded in death 
by his father, George Lee Mills, II.

Mr. Mills is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sandy Mills; daughter, Dr. Ginny 
Shelton and husband Paul; mother, Frankie Mills; 2 sisters; Loyce Mills and 
Pattsi Brakefield; 2 nephews, Troy Brakefield and Peyton Brakefield.

Pallbearers will be Paul Shelton, Ken Booth, Troy Brakefield, Don Floyd, Van 
Erikson and George Stadter.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home Monroe.
