PAULINE BREARD MILNER



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Jesus 
the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Rev. Adrian Fischer and Msgr. Edmund 
Moore officiating. Burial will follow at St. Matthew Catholic Cemetery, under 
the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Milner was born on March 20, 1926 and died on May 7, 2014. She was preceded 
in death by her husband, Louis P. Milner, Jr.; parents, Cecil Enochs Breard and 
Armand Vaughan Breard; maternal grandparents, Catherine Roberts Enochs and 
Thomas Alexander Enochs; and paternal grandparents, Nellie Vaughan Breard and 
Dan Armand Breard, Jr., and Edith Griffing Breard.

She was a 1942 graduate of Ouachita Parish High School and graduated from 
Randolph-Macon Women's College in 1946 where she was a member of Alpha Omicron 
Pi Sorority. She was a member of Jesus the Good Shepherd Church, Town and 
Country Garden Club, Monroe Garden Club, and the Lotus Club.

She is survived by her children, Louis P. Milner, III and wife Cindy of 
Anchorage, AK; Polly Ann Storms and husband Clifton Mark Storms of Covington, 
LA; Armand Breard Milner and wife Theresa; Nancy Catherine Messina and husband 
Anthony P. Messina, Jr.; and brother Armand Enochs Breard and wife Travis, all 
of Monroe; grandchildren, Christopher McVey Storms, Louis Armand Milner and wife 
Ida, Sarah Elizabeth Messa and husband Scott T. Messa, Mary Amanda Messina, 
Catherine Pauline (Polly) Messina, Armand Breard Milner, Jr., Mary Elizabeth 
(Arie) Milner, Karen Ann Milner, Krystle Lewis and husband Banyon Dupuy and Eric 
Lewis and wife Kristy; great grandchildren, Louis P Milner, IV, Connor Christian 
Bagwell, Scott T. Messa, Jr., Pyron McKenzie Meyers, Samuel Patrick Matson, Leon 
P. Messa, Nellie Cooper Meyers, Rebekkah Milner and Lyla Lewis; and a host of 
nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Christopher McVey Storms, Armand Breard Milner, Jr., Dan 
Armand (Danny) Breard, John Kenneth Breard, Ernest Ricker Breard, Armand Chapman 
Breard, Thomas M. Hayes, III, and Nelson Abell, III. Honorary pallbearers will 
be Dr. James H. Shelton, Dr. Burchal Liles, Alden (Bill) Shotwell, Jr., and Jack 
H. Breard, Jr.

Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Saturday, at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend their thanks to Dr. Emile Barrow, Dr. Dean 
Stockstill and long-time care giver, Karen Walker.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic 
Church or St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105, 
or to your favorite charity
