FRED MIZELL

KEITHVILLE, LA

Southside, Shreveport, La.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Fred Mizell, 72, will be held at 1:30 
p.m. Friday, January 23, 2009 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, Southside. 
Officiating will be Rev. McKee Williams. Interment will follow in Springhill 
Baptist Church Cemetery in Ringgold, LA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, prior to the 
service from 10:00 a.m. until noon.

Fred was born on November 2, 1936 in Ruston, LA to Adrian and Nola Mizell. He 
passed away on January 21, 2009 in the Promise Hospital in Shreveport, LA .

Fred retired from Lucent Technologies where he had worked as an engineer for 
25 years.

Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Ree Mizell, 
brother Richard Mizell, sister Mary Lou Walker, and his parents.

He is survived by his devoted daughters, Virginia Mizell and Cindy Mizell Cox; 
sister, Ruby Dison and husband Ted; brother, Bobby Mizell and wife, Carol, and 
many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be David Allbritton, James Giddens, Cody Andres, and Lawrence 
Guyon, and Jim Walker.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Dr. Wendell Wall and the 
caring staff at Promise Hospital.
