DONALD CLIFFORD MODLIN
Kilpatrick Funeral Home

Monroe, Louisiana

Funeral services for Donald Clifford Modlin, 70 of Monroe, LA will be at 11:00 
AM, Thursday, August 20, 2009 at Grace Episcopal Church of Monroe, LA with 
Father Gregg Riley officiating. Interment will be at Mulhearn Memorial Park 
Mausoleum under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Mr. Modlin was born in Tekamah, Nebraska, October 30, 1938. He graduated from 
the University of Nebraska. He was employed by IMC, Angus and Dow Chemical as 
Purchasing Manager for 27 years. He was twice President of Morehouse Country 
Club. He was an avid golfer, a chef, loved traveling and growing roses. He 
walked the Earth with honor, touching many lives and quietly making the world 
a better place. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ruby Elnora and 
Clifford Elden Modlin and son: Jeffrey Modlin.

Mr. Modlin is the beloved husband of Sylvia Modlin; brother to Janice Hosler 
and husband, Dennis; nephew: Matthew Hosler of Missouri; friend and cherished 
father to Kristi Hendricks and husband, Greg, John David Graves, Carla Vincent 
and husband, Carl and Celia Neitz and husband, Tom. He was grandfather to: 
Curtis Rogers, Nickolas Rogers, Hanna Doty and husband, Jason, Ramsey Vincent, 
PFC, SOARS 160, Emily Vincent, Kaitlin Graves and his youngest granddaughter 
and pal, Carly Ana Neitz.

Pallbearers will be : Tom Neitz, Curtis Rogers, Matthew Hosler, Fred Ratcliff, 
Wes Ratcliff, and Nickolas Rogers.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Jerry Sipes, Carl Vincent, and members of 
Morehouse Country Club.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at 
Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Monroe.

Donations can be given to Grace Episcopal School or charity of your choice
