Rev. Bo Horne will be officiating. Interment to follow at Transport Cemetery near Dodson, LA, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Mrs. Moffett was born January 10, 1917 in Bienville Parish, LA and died April 25, 2011 in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. J. Moffett; parents, David and Minnie Miles and her brother, Herman Miles. Mrs. Moffett was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. In the past years, Mrs. Moffett worked in different capacities in the church until health concerns limited her activities. She served as president of the United Methodist Women's Circle. The joy of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Moffett was a loving mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by her family and friends. Mrs. Moffett is survived by 2 children, Charlotte McGrew and husband Roy of West Monroe and Kathy Fisher and husband Buddy of Farmerville; 4 grandchildren; Jim McGrew and wife Denna, Janet Mills and husband Jeremy, of West Monroe, Matthew Fisher and wife Mandy of Madison, MS and Erin Fisher of Farmerville; 7 great-grandchildren, Ethan and Jenna McGrew, Mick and Mason Mills, Caroline, Will and Anna Marie Fisher; her sister, Lessie Ford; a nephew and 2 great nephews and Mrs. Margaret Rhone her very best friend of 60 years. Pallbearers will be Jim McGrew, Matthew Fisher, Jeremy Mills, Dan Denton, Chet Coronado and Billie Gene Ford. A special thanks to Dr. Don Hammett, his staff, Arbor Lake and care givers Gal Freeman and Alicia Freeman. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
